It's been a year since my grandmother died and the family seems to have moved on without the old girl quite nicely. Anyway, as part of the process of moving on without getting too soppy about it (she was 85 after all and had a darn good innings - cricket metaphor would be appropriate given that it is cricket world-cup) the family (namely my mother, aunt and sister) have been busy archiving old photos.

Yesterday, Tara sent out some old photos of grandmother when she was young, good-looking and fit enough to cause trouble. I'm told that my grandfather fell in-love with a fistey young girl and I think the photos reflect her love of life pretty well. Then there are photos of mum, Auntie Frieda and Uncle Soon Teck when they were young.

Quite fun to look at Old people when they were young. Not so sure how it will feel when I become an old relic for other people to look at though.
